Ownership of the NowComment site was transferred to Paul Allison, so references to the old owner Fairness.com LLC were updated (and related pronouns changed) and Section 11 was changed from Albemarle County, Virginia to New York County, New York.

We updated our Privacy Policies (part of our Conditions of Service) pursuant to GDPR to further protect your data privacy and security. We've:

• made our email permissions more granular (separate controls for Document Notificaions, invitations, and newsletters/announcements and all are opt-in. We also switched users with our old default option “Daily Digest” for Document Notifications to the option “No Notifications” as a way to ensure that we're not sending notifications unless specifically requested. Users can reselect the desire option at any time from the Notifications and Favorites menu.
• clarified how we use cookies (very sparingly) and log IP addresses (not for tracking)
• clarified how to delete an account

We also clarified that NowComment users do not give us any rights to documents or comments uploaded to our site.
