Things I want to think about more:
How to invite youth across time and geography to curate resources in NowComment collections for other youth around grounded, story-inspiring questions. NowComment collections and groups can become reference points for youth to come together around a set of texts, videos, and images.

I should probably give priority to Comments, NowComment basic, and Building or adding to a collection. Also this leaves room for creating a playlist around a topic/issue/question as an example. I want to think through how experiences (XPs) for commenting in each of the other playlists in this suite will also count in the comments playlist.

Title: Moving along.
I have finally made the first step toward a complex curriculum design that I have in mind. Specifically, I've created a NowComment collection about U.S. Immigration https://nowcomment.com/blogs/143589. There is are two basic intentions to this collection. 1) To quickly introduce some basic facts about immigration and to ask students to annotate these materials and pass quizzes about the content in them (still to do). 2) To use these as an example of one of the things youth might do themselves: to collect "facts" together for the beginning of a playlist that they might develop for other youth about other issues/questions. Next step? Probably get those quizzes ready. (Oh, I already made a badge for this mini-course, and I'm thinking that youth submit both annotations from NowComment and they pass a test for each of the three pairs of documents.)

Title: Finishing Immigration Playlists and thinking about where they fit in larger learning ecosystems
I need to get the Immigration Mini-Course done already so that... we can see what it looks like to build a playlist around a NowComment collection or "text set." This is important to the other teachers I'm working with so that they can see how this fits into their work with students. If we can get this one done, then move on to another one that looks more deeply into both personal connections and policy considerations into immigration, that would be great. Then Christina and I just said to each other that it would also be good to have a Global Warming playlist or pair of playlists for youth to choose from -- e.g. either Immigration or Global Warming. How can I get to all of this? Let me just start with finishing the quiz.

Title: Introducing NowComment
I'm been thinking about how to introduce the teachers in the NWP's Digital Portfolio group to NowComment, specifically how to go through the same steps that we might want to ask youth to do:
