Kevin describes the specific aspect of the work that I found compeling as a “Splash page” and talks about this as an advanced technique in graphic/comic creation. The previous panels (6-8 a page) are meant to show the passage of time; in contrast the “splash page” is meant to stop time. I thought thisa was particularly effective in this students’ story.
