When the first phones came out not everyone was able to afford them. Actually very few people were able to afford them, so when the person is Bradbury’s story was being called by his friends and family it isn’t all relatable.

It’s interesting that Bradbury predicted wrist phones. We do have handheld phones that are commonly used by people to both make calls and play music. There are also things like the Apple Watch, which can makes calls and go on your wrist.
