This scenario shows the ever increasing problem of entitlement. While it is important that we do what we love, we also have to realize that we can't have everything fit our mold. Sara's scenario paints a picture that every post high school graduate will face:the new path to take in life. College is set up for students to take classes that interest them in the fields they would like to study. That doesn't necessarily mean that a college student is going to like his/her classes. The Peer to peer university should only act as a source for her to strengthen her skills and apply them to the classes she takes in college, not be the end all be all of her post high school career. Job experience and connections make a resume; not knowledge.

American students perform lower due to outdated teaching methods.

It is most definitely the lack of Technology in the classroom that is contributing to why American students are falling behind. It has nothing to do with the fact that each country has a different structure for its education system, the sense of entitlement that younger generations have, and our need for instant gratification. When we have everything that we need to know at the edge of our fingertips, we fail to retain and process information. Why would we need to?
