<title>Leslie I have saw this done and it actually helps those at the beginning level. Though it may take a little time it is exciting to see all students grasp the comprehension level of reading. </title>

<title>I think that this is a great way to get them all engaged. Students love to be heard and love to read text with similar experiences. </title>

<title>I think that this is a great way to help students at the intermediate level. Sometimes things may not be clear but if we take that time to stop and be sure they understand then it helps them grow in the comprehension area</title>

<title> I would practice high-frequency words with them. Showing students the words and having them repeat them helps them with remember the words. I would also create a word wall of unfamiliar words with definitions or pictures that help understand the word.</title>

<title>For my beginner readers I would read the text slower while also pointing out key words that they may not know and giving them a definition of the word. Another thing I would do after each passage is checking the comprehension of each student. </title>

<title>To engage ALL students I will first ask students to tell me about their favorite birthday party or age. I then will give a scenario where I am the teacher in the story and ask my students how it made them feel. </title>

<title>I like this sentence because I often do this myself. Especially after having a birthday at the beginning of the year. By the time I remember how old I actually am I am getting ready to celebrate another birthday.
Three words: eleven, birthday, grow</title>
