I had to seek help and feedback to have a clear idea, and this helped me realize that persisting is an important habit to implement since you look for different ways to tackle the problem and look for a solution.

I think this is a very important thing to do, especially as teachers. We need to think about the strategies we want to incorporate into our instructions while creating the lesson. This is something that I used when writing the proposal.

When completing the activity, I was thinking of ways to make it more multimodal and what strategies will be better to incorporate due to the age of the students. I had to reflect and put myself in the child's position to think of ways to make it more interesting, fun, and engaging.

Looking at other people’s descriptions of children makes you think of ways to help them succeed academically. The description makes me picture the child and reflect on strategies the teacher can implement to support the student.

This was the habit that came to mind when writing the description of the child. I have performed multiple observations for previous classes. I was able to apply what I learned from them to this assignment.

The questions asked in the article makes you think about the child's characteristic and help you understand the child better. It also makes you think about strategies you can implement in the classroom in order to help the student.

It is okay to seek guidance when you need it. This is something that I found myself doing in order to complete the "making your mark" post. I had to ask for the help of an expert in order to complete the activity.

I agree with you. I think he knows how to express his feelings, and he is seeking affection from the people around him. I wonder why he is so affectionate at school? Perhaps, he lacks affection at home?

This part reflects how Jacob is trying to be friendly and support his friends. In this part, he uses both verbal and physical interactions. Also, it shows that he respects boundaries because he asked the friend for a hug instead of just doing it.
