this habit is the one that resonated the most while planning my proposal. I feel that thinking about ways on. how to help students learn about the habits of mind and how the skills needed to grow in such areas is a way of innovating myself in the way that I can reflect on my own mistakes too provide a better approach to my students.

This habit got me tremendously when choosing my avatar and creating my profile. At first, it was just a profile I was creating and personalizing with the things that I like, but then when I was asked why I choose the avatar picture and the cover pic It made me realized that sometimes we do things just to get them done without knowing that unconsciously we are reflecting our own persona on it.

while writing the proposal I was driven by my senses and the feelings I got from the outside world. Observing the environment and collecting data allowed me to reflect on how other people may experience when confronting situations they are not familiar with.

while reading my classmates multimodal post and writing my own, I was able to reflect on this habit of mind. reading and writing the post made me think and ask myself the pros and cons of technology and how it's been implemented in the classroom. it also made me realize the importance of providing students with a variety of materials that can help them learn through all possible approaches.

I agree, text are becoming more accessible to children's interest. There is a great variety of text to meet children at their level and to encourage progress and learning. Nowadays we live in a world where technology has become vital in our daily routines. I believe that learning how to use technology and the amount of time we spend using it is crucial but also I understand that in this modern times it's ok to take advantage of what it can offer. So like you I would access internet and use technology when I need to.

Thinking flexibly is the habit I most needed while creating a discussion. My goal was to create a post where others could reflect on but at the same time where my opinion was understood. I also took into consideration the post other people shared so that from there I could start building my own idea and response.

While reading Jacob’s descriptive review and later writing my child study, I was able to respond and share with details my case. More so, I was able to reflect on how to think and communicating with clarity and precision. Writing a report like such can take a lot of time and can be very consuming, that is why focusing on precise details and clear comments can help you when recorded this type of document. It is important to have a clear mind and reach for accuracy so that whoever reads the report can understand what you are telling them about the child and what is the purpose of such review.

This clearly says a lot about Jacob expressing his needs. He is stating that he wishes affection and the company of other people both adults and children.

While writing my BIO, this habit of mind is the one I feel I implemented the most. Even though I was able to write the ideas I got from the reading on my own, reflecting and asking questions to my classmate helped me build a better understanding of what to do during this assignment. So yes, working on my own and with the help of others helped me make a better job.

One of the steps that to my understanding is essential when creating this type of process is the introduction. That is because knowing the goal and the people that will be working and providing the services and instruction is key during this process. Also, recognizing the child’s areas of reinforcement, specific information, child’s background, and family participation as well as the tools and what the goal and final outcomes of this process will be about.

In order to be able to teach our students how to behave when they don’t have the answer to something, how to get them produce a response based on prior knowledge, or helping them develop, process, learn, and imitate a critical response either on their own or from others view. The habit of the mind focuses on finding cues to our responses when facing situations people do not have the answer to. In my opinion, there are important factors we must deal with prior to confronting an awkward situation where we are at lost due to lack of knowledge.

Controlling our impulses and abruptic behaviors can be extremely difficult. For many people, being impulsive if there first reaction as a way to protect themselves when they don’t know or have the answer to something. Letting out our emotions is most of time the easiest way to take control of a situation

Not always human being tends to take advisement so lightly. It is usually taken otherwise, as an offense or disrespect to their person and their knowledge. It can be very hard to take an advice or to listen to others without having argued back.

I agree with this statement, Sometimes we can relate to past situations or experiences to bring them to real life. Reflecting on past knowledges is helpful in avoiding falling into the same mistakes and wrong responds, behave and act among others.

I agree with your statement. As educators, learning how to teach our students how to control their impulsivity is key in order for them to act responsible and to behave intelligently.
