The comment is correct since it refers to the communities most affected by the armed conflict in Colombia and, like many Colombians, we have been indifferent to such a situation, which is why with this documentary the victims relate their experiences in a direct way, making us feel the extremes and cruelty to which the actors of the war are capable of reaching.

3. What are the importance of memories and testimonies in our peace process.

The importance of memories and testimonies in our peace process is what leads us to recognize the truth of everything that has really happened in our country due to the internal armed conflict at the hands of all the armed actors, the guerrillas, paramilitaries and members of the public force, who in the last 5 decades have caused the death of more than 220,000 people, displaced 5,700,000, more than 25,000 disappeared, more than 23,000 selective assassinations, 27,000 kidnappings, 10,000 affected by mines, all the foregoing due to violent acts such as combats, massacres, selective assassinations, forced disappearances, torture, kidnappings, dismemberment, child recruitment, sexual violence and the complete disappearance of towns among many other atrocities. Recognizing this seeks to keep in memory the truth of the facts so that this is not forgotten, it does not become invisible so that this does not happen again, so that the state does not allow it to happen again, because the war has always affected the most abandoned and unprotected by the state. It is important to react against the conflict, recognize responsibilities, rebuild a new society and defend life since we are responsible for what is coming for Colombia.

2. Why is important the notion of peace and its promotion for Victims?

The notion of peace is important because from there begins the concept and structure through which we can start talking about the possible end of the conflict, the notion of peace is a concept that can be defined with multiple and diverse characteristics; Its promotion for the victims is essential within the entire process because peace begins by recognizing the condition of victims of the conflict and for this we must break the silence, listen to them, reject barbarism and keep what happened in our memory, let us remember that violence only It brings death, injuries, displacement, having to leave their lands and go to look for new sources of survival in the cities, generating greater poverty, fear, abandonment and all kinds of violations of the victims' rights.

1.What is the documentary about?

The documentary "NO TIME FOR SADNESS" shows cases of violence suffered by the victims of the Colombian armed conflict, in the testimonies narrated by the victims themselves, they expose how the war in Colombia affects all social sectors, hits the entire society, although throughout history rural and marginalized areas have been more affected. There are many groups interested in having a war in this country, maintaining the initial causes that generated the violence and generating new causes for the war, such as the dispute over land, political exclusion, drug trafficking, organized crime and social cleansing in the cities.
