A wonderful way to expand one's own thinking/practice/output by looking at other research perhaps that is perpendicular or abstractly related to your own. New ideas are born this way.

Girls need to hear this!

I believe this is true especially (as historically) the female viewpoint hasn't been encouraged or valued as much as the male viewpoint. Sometimes this is cultural. Also, it is often women who are the mothers who are raising boys so we need to look at this in ourselves as women. Girls need to hear and know their opinion is as valid as any other in the room.

I also love when laughter is uncontrollable and contagious. Is that the same for everyone?

seeing the world afresh and the 'aha' moment of growth in learning

I love this idea of seeing the world afresh when there is new learning. It reminds me of good teaching and the 'aha' moment in students after a struggle with a concept, or learning a concept that is new and a first for the learner. It is so powerful and the ideas behind evolutionary psych are fascinating.
