Despite the hardships that Asian-Americans face here in the US, they will inevitably "make it" and become successful. Though many Asian-Americans do succeed, how about the many other Asian-Americans that still struggle in poverty and a lack of education. Their stories are barely heard or acknowledged. I think this ultimately stems from white supremacy. Asians who "make it" are crowned with "honorary whiteness" while the stories of other Asian-Americans who pale in comparison are ignored.
