It is somewhat of an emotional roller coaster with highs, low, and many mixed emotions. Most obviously, war is hell. When the ordinary person thinks of a war, they think of bloody battles, fighting, casualties and brutal times for those in battle. However, there is much more to this. It is mystery because of the unknown outcome and adventure and courage because of the bravery it takes to put one's life on the line to fight. However, even with all the hardships, comes longing, holiness, and love. People who fight in wars have extreme pride, beliefs, and love for what they are fighting in which brings joy and a feeling of accomplishment to them.
