The background synth pad was a Logic instrument controlled by an M-Audio Axiom 49. Oh, and of course, a Sousa Band harmonica! Well, they can be, but when I wrote this I used "mischief kids" to represent certain emotions I was experiencing at the time. The mischief kids are the ones your parents warn you about, the bad influences, the troublemakers. But deep down inside, the mischief kids can be good people shrouded by a bad name. They can be your crutch because no one else will give you a chance, and they will help you through. Not always in the best ways, but they still are there for you. The emotional resort that the mischief kids represent are viewed as negative, and the confusion that goes along with them is maybe their bad effect, but sometimes when everything is looking down and you're finding yourself, the mischief kids will stand in and help you through. I don't know if this explained it well enough, but I hope so.
