Biography and literary imagination solves the issue by losing the personal bias an autobiography would have, but keeping the energy and soul of an autobiography. If the loyalty is to friends, or to anything else, the biography can become skewed, as information may be hidden or told in a biased way in order to appease the favour of the subject or their friends.
