I also noticed that the information seems to be organized into "blocks". I wondered if a block essay means having block paragraphs. I also wondered why the conclusion was so small compared to the other paragraphs. In the second essay I noticed that it had a very small intro with little detail. I also noticed that the conclusion seems to be an opinion. I wondered if point by point essays are more opinion rather than fact. I also wondered why there wasn't as much detail in the essay compared to the block essay. If he had failed, he would have lost his balance and tumbled down towards the streets. Fortunately, his plan works and he climbs back into his apartment. Tom used his wife, Clare, for motivation instead of work. He drew back his fist and yelled "Clare!" as he punched through the window with full force. Tom's priority is now his wife, rather than his work. The experience of retrieving the yellow paper made him realize what was most important. This sentence shows how important yellow paper is because it says he ran across the room trying to save it. "He heaved on the window with all his strength and it shot open with a bang, the window weight rattling in the casing." This sentence also shows the importance because Tom's using all his strength to shut the window but unfortunately the paper gets away.
