This is a very passionate and interesting sentence! It grabs your attention, and hints at the suffering the man has gone through. You can see his concern for Walter because he sees himself in him. It also makes you wonder what exactly happened. This is a great literary device.

This man Robert is describing has the Byronic trait of doing something that results in solitude. The reason this Byronic figure is considered nobel is because he sacrificed his personal feelings and happiness for the girl he loved.

Robert longs for a friend, someone to share his experiences with who will demolish his loneliness. At this point he has been alone for a long time, which is a Byronic trait, but he has done nothing sinister and he is not internally struggling with something from his past. He is simply lonely and in need of companionship. I totally understand where he is coming from. This is not a Byronic trait.

The word endeavour means to make an earnest effort to achieve a goal over time. Robert is using it to describe the effort his supposed friend will have to make to get him back on track.

Walton's attitude is optimistic yet sad. He is looking forward to the journey, but it saddens him that he might not see his sister again. He also understands how hard it is going to be to survive the extreem weather. These things worry him, but in the end he is excited and looking forward to his adventure. This suggests that he is willing to endure much in order to chase his dreams.

Come live with me and be my love. This perfectly summarizes the poem. Marlowe is asking the nymph to live with him, and he described all that entails. He is also asking her to be his love. He is wooing her with tempting pleasures, all for one purpose, to persuade her to live with him and be his love.

The old man represents death. He looks like death, he is a reminder of death, and he says he can escape it. Only death itself can be rapidly decaying, but not die.

This is dramatic irony because the readers understand that death lies at the tree, and treasure often leads to greed and death. The men, on the other hand, forget all about death, and sat down by something obviously dangerous.

Self Plagiarism and Tow Ways to Avoid Plagiarism

Self plagiarism occurs when a student submits his or her work in twice for two different assignments. It is wrong to duplicate your work and use it for more than one assignment. Let's say someone had writen a wonderful essay last year for English class. This year the student is going to a different school, and finds the same essay would be perfect for the current assignment. If this student uses the essay again, he or she would be self plagiarizing.

One way to avoid plagiarism is to paraphrase. When doing so always make sure to restate the main ideas in different words, and to never quote over two words one after the other in anything without using quotation marks.
Another way to avoid plagiarism is to always cite yourself. If you want to quote something you wrote, then that is okay as long as you cite yourself.
