      <title>I have students who would benefit from learning possess, compared, stretched, and acts &amp; ages (which have multiple meanings) - some of these words are Tier I, but without knowing these words and how they are being used, the passage loses much meaning.  </title>

      <title>I agree with prevalent, culture, and hollow - I don't disagree with shallow - I wonder if both hollow and shallow might be best taught with visual examples - models or pictures, but maybe not together because their spellings are so close. Tricky?</title>

      <title>I also chose &quot;dweller&quot; as a word I would focus on with students.  It has the suffix &quot;er&quot; which means a person who does something, but it might be a good challenge for students to determine what that &quot;thing&quot; is using #3 and 4 of the vocabulary strategy.</title>

      <title>I agree, Percussion Instruments is important to teach. It is the title of the passage.  Students will encounter the word instrument again and again, and the paragraph allows students to use context clues to help define percussion - and word-part clues.</title>
