Some families are fortunate enough that one parent stays at home with the child every day. I am a champion for social interaction and its effects on development. It's a great platform for students who are shy or don't perform well, academically in social settings. However, teachers are valuable tools and have the ability to differentiate learning. We cannot trade teachers with technology. We must find a way to integrate technology into lessons to help teachers facilitate a lesson. You made a great point. Great topic to comment on!
