When reading a horoscope, you can easily say, "oh that's how my day is going to go" and be influenced in that way. Thu, 11 Apr 2019 09:49:00 -0500 Not suprising https://nowcomment.com/documents/136638?scroll_to=1323255 https://nowcomment.com/documents/136638?scroll_to=1323255 Looking at a horoscope, it's just one big guess. As I said before, they seem very generalized. How can you know what your "daily horoscope" is based on the arrangement of the planets in our solar system. It's just strange. I think this shows how random it is. Thu, 11 Apr 2019 09:35:47 -0500 Interesting https://nowcomment.com/documents/136638?scroll_to=1323217 https://nowcomment.com/documents/136638?scroll_to=1323217 It's really interesting to me that people look at something as simple as a horoscope and think that it can be accurate for their expectations for the day. Personally, when I look at a horoscope, I find it sort of silly and generalized. It's bizarre to me that people believe in astrology as a thing Thu, 11 Apr 2019 09:19:03 -0500 Also makes sense https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308845 https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308845 Horoscopes, once again, are so vague. They can apply to anyone and just tell them how they day is seemingly supposed to go. Since it has to apply to such a general audience, it fascinates me how people still look at them and base their lives off of what their horoscope of the day says Thu, 04 Apr 2019 15:24:27 -0500 Understandable https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308825 https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308825 With the new age of the internet and astrology mainly focused on there, it's not surprising that astrology has taken over the modern era of people of a younger generation. Since it has also become more of a "trendy" idea to be in touch with your astrologic sign, it also makes sense to reach more of a younger group Wed, 27 Mar 2019 09:58:13 -0500 Seems the opposite https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308817 https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308817 This is really interesting because I feel like people usually look at their astrology signs and say, "oh yeah, this is totally me" just because astrology is so vague it could be talking about anyone. Plus, often times when you're told you're something, you may believe it. Wed, 27 Mar 2019 09:53:55 -0500 Astrology is a blur https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308815 https://nowcomment.com/documents/135318?scroll_to=1308815 This reminded me of when I was looking at two different horoscope sites that were linked together, astrology.com and horoscope.com . I looked at the daily horoscope a leo and the two sites were completely different. If the sites were linked, wouldn't they be the same? Wed, 27 Mar 2019 09:51:31 -0500 So why the fascination? https://nowcomment.com/documents/134032?scroll_to=1307225 https://nowcomment.com/documents/134032?scroll_to=1307225 If everyone knows that there is no scientific background, why do they still look at horoscopes or talk about astrology? Is it just the idea or do people want to believe that astrology is true? Mon, 25 Mar 2019 09:51:31 -0500 Horoscopes https://nowcomment.com/documents/134032?scroll_to=1307220 https://nowcomment.com/documents/134032?scroll_to=1307220 It's so interesting to see the rise in horoscopes and how many people check them out. In these people who look at them, I wonder who believes them or takes these horoscopes true to heart Mon, 25 Mar 2019 09:46:22 -0500 Why now? https://nowcomment.com/documents/134032?scroll_to=1307211 https://nowcomment.com/documents/134032?scroll_to=1307211 It's so bizarre that now is the time that astrology is blooming. Due to the rise of social media, it makes it easy to spread it around and create an environment for astrology. Mon, 25 Mar 2019 09:41:02 -0500 Comparison https://nowcomment.com/documents/133763?scroll_to=1296125 https://nowcomment.com/documents/133763?scroll_to=1296125 This is beginning to compare two different things and explore more strategies Wed, 20 Mar 2019 10:09:49 -0500 Explanatory Strategies https://nowcomment.com/documents/133763?scroll_to=1296116 https://nowcomment.com/documents/133763?scroll_to=1296116 This paragraph defines the reasoning behind aphids and what they are good for. Wed, 20 Mar 2019 10:08:02 -0500 Not always true. https://nowcomment.com/documents/118103?scroll_to=1175775 https://nowcomment.com/documents/118103?scroll_to=1175775 Sometimes bottled water can have chemicals in the bottle that can be harmful to your body. It might be the safer route to get a reusable filtered bottle and trust t he tap rather than trusting unknown chemicals. Tue, 04 Dec 2018 11:26:09 -0600 And? https://nowcomment.com/documents/118103?scroll_to=1175773 https://nowcomment.com/documents/118103?scroll_to=1175773 So can other bottles. You can have reusable bottles that do the exact same things. They have plenty of different sizes that have the right amount to track how much you're drinking. Again, you don't need plastic. Tue, 04 Dec 2018 11:23:38 -0600 I guess? https://nowcomment.com/documents/118103?scroll_to=1175771 https://nowcomment.com/documents/118103?scroll_to=1175771 Sure? I mean I guess this works. But then again, so does a metal water or another one thats BPA and plastic free. You don't ned plastic to keep water convenient, there are alternatives. Tue, 04 Dec 2018 11:21:51 -0600 Act now!! https://nowcomment.com/documents/116096?scroll_to=1139678 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116096?scroll_to=1139678 If we don't act now, things are going to get bad quickly. Doing simple things like changing your lifestyle or even protesting can do so much. Tue, 23 Oct 2018 15:37:14 -0500 Dang https://nowcomment.com/documents/116096?scroll_to=1139676 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116096?scroll_to=1139676 This is sooooooo many bottles. It scares me. Like that is off in a landfill somewhere. That isn't fake. We as humans are doing that. Why can't we just take care of our planet? Tue, 23 Oct 2018 15:36:06 -0500 Interesting https://nowcomment.com/documents/116096?scroll_to=1139675 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116096?scroll_to=1139675 I really like this last comment. I always think of plastic water bottles when I think of plastic waste. I forget to think of bigger picture things, like sodas. I feel like people seem to ignore the plastic waste soda companies use. Tue, 23 Oct 2018 15:34:46 -0500 Money Saver! https://nowcomment.com/documents/116104?scroll_to=1139673 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116104?scroll_to=1139673 I remember being at the store with my boyfriend when he was shopping for his family. He told me he had to buy a thing of bottled water so they could have some. I was baffled because water literally comes out of a tap. It would be so much more cost effective to get a filter, as I said earlier. Tue, 23 Oct 2018 15:21:00 -0500 Insane! https://nowcomment.com/documents/116104?scroll_to=1139672 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116104?scroll_to=1139672 This is weird for me to read. It doesn't seem real. But when I think about it, it makes sense. We need 8 glasses of water a day, and if half the population is drinking out of plastic, it's bound to take up a ton of time. Wow. Tue, 23 Oct 2018 15:19:01 -0500 Agreed! https://nowcomment.com/documents/116104?scroll_to=1139671 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116104?scroll_to=1139671 I totally agree with this. It's ridiculous. I see people every day with a plastic water bottle attached to their hand. It would be so much cheaper to get water out of the sink. If you don't like sink wanter, get a filter! Tue, 23 Oct 2018 15:17:26 -0500 Metal Straws https://nowcomment.com/documents/116100?scroll_to=1139123 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116100?scroll_to=1139123 Metal straws are a great alternative!! I bought some off of amazon and they work amazingly. I carry some in my bag, my car, and keep some at home. If I don't have any, I just simply refuse a straw! Mon, 22 Oct 2018 15:32:18 -0500 Turtle with Straw Video https://nowcomment.com/documents/116100?scroll_to=1139122 https://nowcomment.com/documents/116100?scroll_to=1139122 This reminds me of a video I saw of a turtle a few years ago. The turtle got a straw stuck up it's nose due to the pollution in the ocean. People had to get it out and the poor thing was in so much pain. Now, it's hard not to notice it. I try my hardest not to use plastic, especially if it's single use, but sometimes it seems unpreventable, even tho I know it's not. Mon, 22 Oct 2018 15:27:29 -0500
