There are also many ways to manage the debt. The problem exists, but is easily managed if effort is put in. Management options such as loan forgiveness after 20 years and income based options make it realistic for everyone to pay their student debt. The problem of student debt is valid, but it can be easily managed. All that is required is commitment and some sacrifice, but that should have been expected.
