      <description>I think all dog breeds are the same species, though I would argue that different sized dogs can mate with each other but that doesn&#8217;t change the species in my opinion. I don&#8217;t think different physical traits between dog breeds would make it a different species because size is a shared gene, which means dogs are similar with their genetics but have different physical traits.</description>
