Why should they make an immigrant work the jobs no one wants to do? Then even to make matters worse they are working for an incredible low wage. 3 cents cant buy anything at all. How are they suppose to support there selves. this would give them even more reason to wanna migrate.

I can tell that the poet feels as though migrating there was a terrible decision. He expresses that where he is just as bad as where he came from.

The poet doesnt actually feel like an immigrant in the place where he is, he actually means that he is in a place where he feels like he is imprisoned

9. Topic includes many different places in one city.
WHY? Because I'm writing about one of the places in my neighborhood.)

I am one of many that does not know what an oak- bone is. The poet then puts (-) as a conjunction of two words. I know that an oak is a type of tree. And a bone is like the core. The core of a tree im guessing are the roots or the branch. Then the poet goes on to say brain firkin. usually when people says the word firkin its because they are frustated. But why did he spell in that way? From my knowledge firkin is spelt freaking? is he southern?

Rods are usually bars that are used to hold up something. Sometimes used for curtains, and or decorative purposes. Does the poet refer to them as floating because they aren't seen. Then he says boughs which are the main branches of a tree. banches usually hang. So is he reffering to someone being hanged and there body floating?

The poet has a pattern of 4 lines for every stanza. The poet probably does that because he wants to limit the amount of information you retain at a time. or he wants to clearly envoke the feeling of every moment with out over exaggerating.

The poet is confused. Just like when we say what the heck or what is going on? But why would he refer to tools. A hammer is used to nail something in and a chain is used to lock.

To aspire means to go ahead and move forward. The poet connotates a wing to aspiring because wings are used to fly. And he clearly wants to move on.n
