Because I think it may be a little simpler than that. It could be saying that the man and boy cheered the person that the author is reading to on, and carried him because either A.) the race wore him out, or B.) victoriously carrying him and chanting his name.

That he's saying how depressing his current situation, given that the color blue is associated with sadness and depression. He could be saying "this that and the third, this is so depressing".

I understood the last two sentences perfectly, and it is in fact a very controversial comment to be said. Suicide is not a joke, and you need to be in a very deep and dark place to even think of something like that, and I relate.

This could be a bit of a reach, but what if this whole poem is in the perspective of a man who's in love with a woman who doesn't love him back, so he resorts to stalking her. He watches her from a specific spot every day, and this could be him saying that he'll see her when she returns.

What is a 'bonnie lass'? I'm assuming it means like a female, a beautiful one at that, but i'd like an opinion from the perspective of another student.

"Till a’ the seas gang dry"? Does this mean "until the sea runs dry"? I'm understanding that the author may have written this in shakespearian language or scottish.

Immortality usually relates to gods, so I'm wondering if he's implying that the tiger is a god.

I say this because he says "what immortal hand or eye, could frame they fearful symmetry", and it sounds like he's saying what kind of god would take such a shape or form
