      <description>I agree with referring to the students as Emergent Billinguals. It portrays them in a different light, instead of being seen as low because of the English language. Being bilingual is an asset to society and is extremely needed in all environments. As educators we need to further develop the students' bilingual abilities instead of oppressing their native languages in order to assimilate them to the English one. </description>
