Same thing happened to me, I felt so scared when I came to this country the first time, and especially when I went to BHS for the first time, I didn't know anyone, and the buildings were too big for me. Nowadays, I am so grateful with every single person that I met in BHS, I made incredible friendships and also I learned amazing things from them.

From my perspective, this is completely right. As an immigrant, I know this feeling because I have been very influenced by this country and a lot of people from here have been influenced by me. I also can imagine how grateful Iranians are with this country for opening their doors to them when they needed the most.

I totally believe this is a fact. People need to socialize, humans need humans, and more for kids and teenagers who are constantly growing up. Being the whole day stuck at home can create confusion, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. Furthermore, it could create a sedentary lifestyle and loneliness. I understand how worry parents are by seeing their children every day in a bad or sad mood. I also thank those parents who make time to protest and push the District to open schools.

On one hand, I really like distance learning because as an immigrant it allowed me to learn more grammar and improve my vocabulary. On the other hand, I understand the concern that parents are having because their children are learning absolutely nothing during this whole year of pandemic. Therefore, I totally agree with the idea of reopening schools for those who want to come back. Also, I recognize the contributions parents have made in order to open schools again. Education is one of the most important things and we all should have an adequate one.

I know how it feels because I've had several mental health crisis. Sometimes, I feel I have a lot of homework and not enough time to finish all of them. Also being in a computer 24/7 could be overwhelming and stressing. I just hope the change won't be so drastic when we go back to school.

Forcing teachers to come back school doesn't sound like a good plan. First of all, the government cannot comment on their personal decisions, more than teachers, they are humans and they should have the total control over their actions and to decide whether or not to come back. Last but not least, their health is just as important as the others, therefore if they don't feel comfortable coming back, they shouldn't.

Even though people don't understand that there are more people with bigger problems, I don't feel that people with mental illness were prioritized. There's a part on the text that says that people related with mental health conditions were just sent home which I feel it is inappropriate due to their families don't have the capacity to deal with them.

Nobody expected a global pandemic therefore special illness centers weren't prepared and sometimes people have to understand that they are not the only ones with the biggest problem, there are people dealing with harder situations.

When the pandemic started, I never thought about how these people with any mental illness would suffer the consequences, and not just them, their families. Most of these people go to special centers and now that the pandemic exits their families have to take care of them and having to deal with them. People with mental illness is not easy to treat or control and I cannot believe how difficult was for these families to face this huge problem.

When the pandemic started, teachers looked for an online solution and now that some of them don't want to come back have they been threatened with closing google classroom? that is not fair and really cruel. I hope that google classroom stays open for everybody because it is such a great platform and it also keeps students organized with their assignments. In addition, I hope the government can understand that not because teachers are their employees, they can take control over their personal decisions.

I cannot believe this, I thought teachers had the chance to choose whether or not to come back to school. Teachers are the must important part of a school and if they don't feel comfortable, they shouldn't go because they are going to transmit that to their students. If they don't want to show up, they should be assigned with any other thing they feel comfortable with.

These goals are excellent, everyone should keep this in mind because if we don't take care of each other everything is going to be closed again, I just hope that everyone agrees with getting the vaccine and protecting themselves using masks. I just hope this pandemic ends by the end of 2021 and we can come back to normal life.

In my opinion reopening schools soon is going to be a huge change and I just agree with it if getting the vaccine become a requirement for everyone, including students. I also think that everyone should keep their masks on for a while. Reopening school is a great motivation for people who are every day at home and need to socialize, it is time to come back school but I just hope that teachers start involving electronic devices in every class.

This reminds me how normal people are demanding normal things that for them are not normal because over history they were mistreated and abused.
