A lot of people where racist at the time because this was before the Civil Rights Movement. https://nowcomment.com/documents/194647?scroll_to=1813329 https://nowcomment.com/documents/194647?scroll_to=1813329 Sun, 19 Apr 2020 23:31:10 -0400 I think Scout was talking about how Aunt Alexandria was teaching her to be more lady-like. This is because Atticus is a man and Scout needs a more feminine influence around the house. https://nowcomment.com/documents/194647?scroll_to=1813294 https://nowcomment.com/documents/194647?scroll_to=1813294 Fri, 17 Apr 2020 10:09:21 -0400 This shows that you can't judge a person until you know what their real intentions are. He felt so bad that he had to tell Atticus. https://nowcomment.com/documents/186751?scroll_to=1753597 https://nowcomment.com/documents/186751?scroll_to=1753597 Wed, 01 Apr 2020 10:59:29 -0400 Scout was being empathetic because she felt sorry for Jem. She probably would've behaved the same way if she had gone. https://nowcomment.com/documents/186751?scroll_to=1753437 https://nowcomment.com/documents/186751?scroll_to=1753437 Wed, 01 Apr 2020 18:46:18 -0400
