I feel their choices are a little questionable.

I understand the frustration that the parents are going through but they did go overboard with their reaction. They weren't thinking about Juliet's feelings. Juliet is in love with only one person and that's Romeo. It's her choice to marry the one she loves but the during the time, women didn't have a choice to who they could marry.

Romeo thinks his punishment is too much for him to handle.

I feel like he's being a bit over-dramatic because what he did was technically treason. His reaction of him hurting himself was a coping mechanism but it was a bit overdone.

I believe that Juliet still loves Romeo, she's just scared because now Romeo is nearing his death bed.

I could understand the loyalty between husband and wife, but that was her cousin, in flesh and blood so I wouldn't necessarily agree with Juliet siding with her husband.

I agree with Mercutio's actions.

I agree with Mercutio's actions the most because he defended Romeo's honor. He wasn't taking the disrespect. He died protecting his friends name and I highly respect him for that.

The similarities between the families are the pointless bickering and fighting. Also, they dragged their kids into the fighting and nonsense.

The similarities between the real-life family and the Capulets and Montagues are that the "Lord's" or "Parents" wanted to own a large amount of land and they disagreed on something and that is how the feud started.
