You're right math is about the relationships of one number to another. However, I think it is very important to make math fun for kids. Like incorporating it into a game or song and making it less about equations and solving for an answer. .This way students will focus more on understanding and enjoying the subject.

I loved this video! They did such a good job with the voices and animations. It was a great touch to add other places in the world instead of only focusing on America.

This video was very informative while being creative and entertaining. Children will especially gravitate towards this because of the cartoons and animations. While learning all about viruses students also learn important vocabulary like bacterium, cell, and DNA. I even learned about the memory cell, something that I wasn't aware of.

Comparing wearing masks to Batman is a really fun way to explain it to kids. Batman wears a mask to hide his identity. This can be used to role play or to explain why a child needs to wear a mask to protect themselves from COVID.

To solve this math problem students must be familiar with the verbiage used to construct the sentence. By understanding what the question is asking you can decide whether or not it is an addition or subtraction problem.

"All communicators develop different reading and writing skills."
As an educator it is important to acknowledge this fact to ensure that you are teaching and evaluating each student in a way that benefits their learning. This can be seen when differentiating instruction and designing tests and assessments.

Three anchoring questions

Morrell's three anchoring quesions are:
1. How do we get student's excited about learning?
2. How do we develop academic and literary identities?
3.How do we make education more digitally relevant?

My most important question as an educator is question number one because, in general, you have to enjoy something in order to be passionate about it. I want my students to be passionate about learning. When you are passionate about something you are interested in learning about it and practicing it. You are also more likely to understand what it is and what it entails versus just memorizing the information. By being passionate about learning my students will enjoy completing academic tasks instead of dreading them.

During math he focuses more on the steps and sequence, versus art where he observes more on technique. He is very strong with problem-solving and thinking reasonably and logically.
