Racism. Feminism. These are the main words that come to mind. I felt this when I read the sentence.

I agree that social media plays a big role in the way people act. Many people act different on social media because they want the LIKES, they want to be judged. But only in a positive way. Now a days, people really do care what people say or think about each other. How would the world be if social media didn't exist? Would people have more self confidence? Social media forces people to seek approval. When in reality, no one should seek approval of anyone just to make themselves feel good. People change on social media platforms.

Everyone is different

If we were all the same, the world wouldn't be as diverse as it is. There are many things going on in the world, but if we want change, we must learn to accept others as they are. If we want to feel or be accepted, who are we to say people can't be different for what THEY believe in or come from. Whether it's a different religion, sexual orientation, by wealth or even race. We should treat others the way we want to be treated.

This paragraph caught my attention. Like the character. When I am not a mom, a wife, a full time employee, a full time student, an uber driver, Who Am I? But how do you tell your story without writing about your experiences? It's our experiences that make US tell our story. Like the character in this paragraph.

Human Experience

Story telling is part of the human experience. With out storytelling, how would we talk about our experiences. How would we tell people our personal stories? Story telling is as easy as having a conversation. Your telling your story, whether it be about a problem at work, or a project for school. Any experience we may have, we talk about it, and we tell our story.

I would talk about how after 16 years I decided to go back to school. What drove me to the decision. How I decided. What or who my motives are. How I plan to stay motivated in school. Why it took me so long to register for classes.

As human, we have experiences, some negative and some positive. Without story telling, how would we pass along information about how our negative experiences. Or how can we help others if we didn't have our story to tell. In my opinion, "learning from our mistakes" comes from storytelling.

Story Telling is entertaining

If we didn't have stories to tell, what would we talk about. Many conversations are about telling stories. Whether it be a personal story, or a story about someone else. But we tell stories to entertain. It can be about our day, or week, or experiences that can help pass along information for others to learn from.
