A focus on individuals is one of the core values of Romantics. Often in life, we must choose between two bad choices. We simply must look at them and try to see which is worse than the other. To reach the ultimate goal of finding yourself and your place in the world can only happen when the government realizes and accepts that compared to this goal they are nothing; without this goal, they have no power, and life would be meaningless.
