For example, Bigger and his family of three other people had to live in a very small apartment that was the size of a single room, and from the video, I understand that Redlining was the cause of so many Black peoples' poor and uncomfortable living conditions. However, the video is also different from the poem "Ballad of a Landlord" because in the video the speaker states that "it is...much harder for a black person to get a mortgage or home loan than it is for a white person," but in the poem, the black man is a resident of the home he is in which is contradicting.
