As someone who also wishes to learn multiple languages, this I feel is certainly a common fear among multi-linguists. Most people don't want to feel stupid, but when you're limited to only a small pool of words, you feel cheated. You know an entire language already. Even if you're good at said language, you second-learnt will probably not be your strongest.

I'm curious to know why exactly she was turned away from so many hospitals. No money? No room to hold her? Was she missing some sort of qualifications?

Us Americans rarely hear about things like this happening outside of our own country. Makes me wonder how many awful things go on in the world at the same time.

This depiction of how badly the animals of Australia suffered during the out of control bush fires really puts a toll on my mind. They must've all been so scared.

After the counselling scene, the one proceeding it has a high contrast when compared to it. We go from a strained, depressing setting to a more "normalized" one, which also gives us insight on how the guys are when Jack isn't around.

I like that the counselor points out the subjective rules that Jack has set in place for himself. Jack has fully fabricated the belief that he has no choice in all this.

I find it interesting Jack has decided that no matter what he does here, it's a lose-lose situation both ways. The guys he lives with are making him miserable, but he thinks that leaving them won't do any good either.

Entry Point #17 - Make a Connection: Poem to Heart/Feelings

This part here resonates with me because I've struggled with a sort of insomnia on and off for a while now. Losing sleep is such a draining thing. It literally pulls you down and keeps you from doing the things you love, but you sometimes can't understand why you're so tired all the time. Sometimes you can't understand why you're losing so much sleep in the first place, either. It's a harrowing thing. Feeling like crap is bad enough on it's own, but adding exhaustion to the mix makes it even worse.
