It is like even now, in 2021, many may feel this way. Everywhere we have students and teachers that have no connection with one another. I see this phrase and can see how this sentence plays into last year and this year.

Building of a theme

From the beginning a theme is being built up. For the narrator states clearly that they are invisible. This plays into the title of the book as well. The book title being "Invisible Man". For no name is revealed and why would a name be revealed?

Shaun writes an article of defying definition. For it tackles on words and when one uses mental illnesses as a way to change a person. For Shaun's case, he states he has depression but he is not his depression. For this applies to the film.

Jon, I'll like to add how one can notice the verbal and physical abuse that doesn't help Barry mentally and emotionally.

This poem fits into today and reading it now. All of us are learning but our growth is strong. We are slowly adjusting. This poem now for it can be useful for inspiration and a reminder for how we have come.

look at you.
still
after
knocked down
and thrown out.

look at you.
still
after
picked and plucked
and prodded out of
your home.
look at you.
still
and
after
defeated and disassembled.

look at you, love.
still here and hopeful
after it all.

I searched up gerund and I read that gerund works as multiple functions within a sentence. it says that it looks like a verb and but "functions" as a noun. It is usually created and can be seen with the "-ing" words.
