Now I don't really think this fall under any of the categories of PVLEGS but I just thought it was very important to mention the use of visual aid. For starters, it is a great callback to her exordium and keeps the audience engaged. It also traps this sense of wonder and mystery for the audience.

So to start, Susan carries herself very well throughout her presentation. The poise is very strong here and you can tell she cares deeply about the subject based off of the life in her voice. The addition of visual aid is also a great strategy in keeping your audience engaged. Her exordium was a great transition into her presentation as well. Gestures were strong and weren't pointless and weren't flying all over the place with no real representation of her voice.

Managing Impulsivity

Impulsivity can lead to many negatives when attempting to focus on the task at hand. Technology plays a major part in this problem. When we hear notifications from our personal devices we impulsively and instinctively look to see if someone has responded to us or messaged us first. So if try to manage this impulse, only then can we learn and tackle the challenge at hand.

That is a very good point, in school, we are taught that there are leaders and followers. Why does that have to be the case? Can we not be what we are usually described as a student body? I believe that there should not be only one leader or multiple, but all, every piece of knowledge or opinion is important to hear and articulate these thoughts together.

Separating the regulars from the honors

This statement, is a message, the message that is being conveyed is that the separation of "regular" students and "honors" students is wrong. I think this ties in with a sort of favoritism seen within schools. The students who walk through school without a single care in the world and succeed tend to frustrate those who struggle. A lot of those times, the students who struggle, do not receive the proper help and support they need to make it just like the honors do. In fact personally, me being a student who does not have to much trouble in school I see these students that struggle, I understand the lives the live and the stress and the responsibility they put on themselves is astronomical. These students need our attention, not the honor role who breeze through. Punishment is not the answer for the students who struggle.

In this scene, the board members give off this feeling of sadness for Lucien, or are feeling bad that he is the way he is. And I also think that the way the lines are delivered shows how they probably feel and think that this is a waste of time. Overall, this a super important scene to help understand who Lucien is as a person.

This dance is truly a very powerful scene. It may just seem like a normal dance in every other movie, but it is between two people with mental handicaps. The dance shows people that everyone deserves the rights to be in love or be in a relationship. Everyone is allowed to be happy, especially someone who is seen as "retarded" or "slow".

Jack is torn about feeling the burden and guilt of getting mad and feeling like he is abandoning them. Jack bursts out that he has to take care of them, and their marriage counselor asked who made that rule, Jack replied with "I didn't make the rules, not me, God." I believe Jack says this to express his frustration with God and to show how God is a unfair being with who gets to be cursed with disability.
