It is impressive to successfully create something with limited materials because it requires you to think and use your brain. As stated in the text, Richard was 13 years old and able to create an effective product using broken flashlight parts and a motorcycle motor. Because of his quick thinking he was able to help save the endangered lions and make a product other people in his community, country and other countries could use. One problem in my community would be cars speeding through my neighborhood. I would like to use an electric lift gate that slows people down from speeding. As stated in paragraph 12, Wilma Rudolph was the first African-American woman to win 3 gold medals in Olympics. This set Wilma as a role model for not only young black girls, but young black children all over. This showed them that they could achieve anything just like Wilma. Not only did she become a role model for black children, but Wilma overcame a disease that crippled her left leg to being the fastest woman in the world.
