Yes, I do agree with Dara Yu's comment that these junior chefs are setting an example for adults.

I say this because when the chief asks them questions, they answer them politely and not rude. For example, "GREENE: How do your friends and fellow students deal with being in a cooking class with you? What is that dynamic like?
DARA: Well, it's kind of funny. I was actually just on a camping trip and everyone, every meal, would be" Instead of giving an attitude, Dara was polite. Also they give another example because when the kids get eliminated, they do not cuss, throw a fit or anything like that. One example that they have set for the younger ones is to always be respectful to others and you can always try it again. So when you get eliminated, you just have to accept it and not make a whole scene by throwing a tantrum.

I think Wilma Rudolph’s Olympic medals contributed to positive change in America because she was sick all of the time when she was growing up but she still accomplished her goal.

According to the text it states, "I was sick all of the time when I was growing up,' So her saying this can help kids grow and tell them just because you might be different from everyone you can still accomplish you goals. I think it made people fell different and also racist towards here because one she was African American and there was racisms back then. So I think the racist people were mad and also shock to see a African American girl accomplish her dreams. According to the text, William helped children overcome their difficulties by participating in sports. Some men and woman are Hajra Khan and Deshaun Watson. They are creating this change but telling people their stories and that anything can happen if you just believe.

I think it is possible to make something from nothing. I say this because you can really just grab anything and make it into another object.

I say this because in the passage it states, ''One day, Wilbur squeezed an empty
bicycle tube box flat. He noticed how it looked when he twisted in his hands. (The flattened box is the
exact shape of the two-winged glider that the Wrights would produce just a couple years later.) They
also used a bicycle chain as a propeller on their plane". All of that from one object. So yes, I think it is posible to make something out of nothing.

People overcome adversity by not giving up and believing in their self. Yes, I think Malala is a normal, yet powerful girl. I say this because she is normal but she was powerful and strong for not being scared of the shooting.

In the text it states, Malala says that the shooting has taken away her fear. “I have already seen death and I know that death is supporting me in my cause of education. Death does not want to kill me,” she says". So it seems like death does not want her and that is why she was not scared.

I think Richard emphasizes that the only thing he bought was a solar panel because he knew what the lions were scared of and he would only need 1 or two supplies.

In paragraph 9, it states, "One night he was walking around with a flashlight and discovered the lions were scared of moving light." Since Richard would study and study it would not take him a long time to think of something. Now that he knew that the lions were scared, all he had to figure out was to make light move.

I think common people can be hero's but it is based on what they did to be called a "hero".

According to the text, it states that , " she risked her life many times over to help the Frank family during the two years they hid from the Nazis". Risking your life for someone else is something some common people would do but from the Nazis is not normal. I think many people didn't choose to take the risk because they probably thought they were going to loose their lives.
