This reminds me of when I first moved to the US, I didn't know anyone and it was very awkward. In Hungary I had known a lot of people and it was easy to make friends, but in the US it was weird to go up to kids and just play alongside with them.

When Covid-19 first started My mom was very cautious and scared so she was extra strict about anyone leaving and entering the house. She was very careful because my grandma was visiting us and she's an elderly person. When my grandma left and went back to Mongolia everything seemed so much less chaotic, my mom let me go outside more, but I missed my grandma so much. Overall, it was a tough experience crammed in a tiny apartment with roommates and relatives, but I got to appreciate spending more time with my family.

Having all of these circumstances are important, it shows and reinforces us that we are ready to reopen schools and maybe even other areas such as Movie Theaters, Amusement Parks, and many more places. Having all of this information also might convince some people to change sides, from not thinking of reopening schools to considering sending their child to school when it does open.

An agreement along with my own reasoning for not reopening schools.

There has been a huge increase in suicides, depression rates, and other mental illnesses because of the pause of not reopening in-person schools. There are some upsides to online learning such as some students have been getting much better grades than before the lockdown. Take upon an example, where my friend, Melik, who has struggled to get good grades and had to study a lot, now being able to engage more with his family and studies.

I feel that even though the school is being cautious when school's are rolling, right when school ends all the friend groups will get together, and more physical activities will be going on.

Although we're taking all these precautions, there have bound to be at least one person who catches the virus. I totally agree that we need to reopens schools but some kids don't feel too safe this year.

Summary

Yes, this is important to release all the Black people who were accused of something and going to jail for that. However, what about the people who actually committed a crime, In the text it says that all the Black people should be released from Jails. What about the people who have actually done a crime, there will always be criminals from every race, so saying that "All Black people should be released from the many jails" is both a good and somewhat of a bad thing.

This connects to me because I always have big ideas that has a low chance of succeeding. For example I always wanted to stop all the factories from emitting C02, it probably won't happen since it would take a lot of money and, resources. Going back to the paragraph it would take a lot of money to make all Black people own guns who can't afford them.

I liked how he said that he will help and support the ones who don't like him or are not with him. It made me think of other presidents (Trump) who wouldn't care at all who don't support him. I hope Biden doesn't turn out like Trump who did very racist things.

Jack's mom seems very hardworking because she did all of this for 6 years and it shows how determined she is to stay in Hong Kong.

This makes me think about how determined and hard working she is. She had spent 6 years working hard every without a break, and all because she wanted to be with her incle living in Hong Kong.

Jack and his mother are similar in some ways because they both are hardworking people. And yet, Jack differs from his mother because she had it much harder than Jack ever did in some ways. Jack grew up with a father and mother figure until he was at least in high school. His mother on the other hand didn't grow up with any family and had to take care of herself.

In this case, I believe that being passive won't get you anywhere, instead, the mother has to be strict and not care what he thinks in order for him to learn. I know it's harsh but In my opinion, a mix of both is good.
