This is absurd to see. Sun, 24 Jan 2021 22:04:30 -0500 It is crazy to me how instead of being scared of monsters under the bed, the boy is scared of white people; the real enemy in his eyes. https://nowcomment.com/documents/250943?scroll_to=2288926 https://nowcomment.com/documents/250943?scroll_to=2288926 It is so bewildering that a little boy has to be scared of the very people that live within his world. This highlights the injustice and wrong doing that was occuring not only in society but in the American justice system. Mon, 25 Jan 2021 19:07:51 -0500 It is bewildering to see the extent of which his mother is punishing him. https://nowcomment.com/documents/250943?scroll_to=2288794 https://nowcomment.com/documents/250943?scroll_to=2288794 This shows how scared and worried his mother is when it comes to coming into conflict with white folks. She beats him hard, and makes sure he knows not to repeat his mistakes. She knows the injustice of African Americans in America and does not want to accept that fate for her son. Sun, 24 Jan 2021 20:45:52 -0500 I agree with Caitlin. https://nowcomment.com/documents/250943?scroll_to=2288777 https://nowcomment.com/documents/250943?scroll_to=2288777 I fully agree that there is no question when a black and white person are found in a conflict that the white person will always be victimized, regardless of the origin of the problem. This is extremely sad to think about because this shows how targeted black people were and how any accusation could potentially ruin. their lives. Sun, 24 Jan 2021 20:41:43 -0500
