Connected as a team and discussed next steps in rolling out the SEL work. Began planning lessons embedding the SEL practices learned.
The materials were god and made it easy to have other teachers turn-key information

Trying to get into the right mind space to juggle all of the expectations… Feeling a bit overwhelmed keeping up with the ever changing demands and expectations.
We need to turn-key this to the staff and finding enough time is difficult.

Teachers feel unsupported themselves. We’re trying to support students SEL and we’re struggling ourselves with the increased disrespect and behaviors from the disruption of the last couple of years. We’re really struggling to both teach, create a respectful environment, and everything else that’s expected of us. We’re overwhelmed.
The hope is that attention to the HoM may change the behavior, but that takes time. Please be patient with yourself and know that we hear you. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help the situation.
