Cuz the woodchuck chucks as much wood as he could and is always chucking that wood. He is positive and happy and always getting better at woodchucking, and therefore bettering the amount of wood he could chuck. Thus, the amount of wood chucked is forever changing.

This reminds me of the story of everyone having two dogs inside of them (good/evil; positive/negative) that are constantly in battle for control of the person. The dog we feed, is the dog we give control to.
