ELEVEN

2 And you are—underneath the year that makes you eleven.
The sentence explains that even though you are eleven, you can still feel and act like you did when you were any other age.
i think this because it explains that you are not just 11,but all of the numbers before.
i think so to because all those ages before 11 stays with you forever.
i agree because i also put that you sometimes feel 1,2,3,4,5,6.,7,8,9,10 so when you cry you feel 3
i think this a important paragraph because she sometimes feels that she is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, or 10
in the book is most important because it shows that she has personalities from when she was younger.

19 This is when I wish I wasn’t eleven because all the years inside of me—ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and one—are pushing at the back of my eyes when I put one arm through one sleeve of the sweater that smells like cottage cheese, and then the other arm through the other and stand there with my arms apart like if the sweater hurts me and it does, all itchy and full of germs that aren’t even mine.
because it shows the main idea.
when you get older your still the same person and you have some of the same traits.
it is important because it brings the fact that you can feel as if you were a younger age even if you are eleven
This sentence is important to the theme because it shows that you still have all the years under 11 in you when you’re 11 and they are pushing at the back of her eyes when she puts on the sleeves
The sentence “This is when I wish I wasn’t eleven because all the years inside of me—ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and one—are pushing at the back of my eyes when I put one arm through one sleeve of the sweater that smells like cottage cheese, and then the other arm through the other and stand there with my arms apart like if the sweater hurts me and it does, all itchy and full of germs that aren’t even mine” says that even though you you put off your best image in front of people, you can never hide or run from the fact that every year of your life is hidden or buried inside of you somewhere and even though you may not want to let out those emotions, sometimes you have to. No matter how hard you try to conceal those emotions inside of you the sad truth is, you’ll never really let go of those lived years.

I think this sentence is a very important theme because it shows how much emotion she is having. For example,in the paragraph one of the sentences says,“my whole head hurts like when you drink milk too fast.” She is showing that she is mad or angry.
I agree because the paragraph shows how she is feeling and how the 4 year old her is coming out when she is eleven years old

This is a very importent part of the story because it was the end of the story line. it was rachels birthday and ruined by the one red sweater.

I think this is a important part of the story because it was Rachel’s birthday and it was ruined by the teacher and the red sweater. she keeps saying that it is her birthday, and her family is going to sing, and eat cake, but now her birthday won’t be as great because of the sweater

I agree this is very powerful sentence because she sees it as although she is 11 she feels like she is not.
I think this is a really powerful sentence because Sandra is 11 but she lets her emotions take over her as if she were 5 or 3.
