[Teacher's Note: This was my 7th grade class English class's first use of NowComment. The goal was to use the site to practice Close Reading strategies. The first six sample comments shown here, like most of the 168 total comments, didn't fully tap the power of NowComment; the students' comments were more like short cell phone text messages. My mom is very stressed out over her about 90 hours of work each week. My dad and I always try to make jokes to try to cheer her up and take her mind off of work for a while.
