    What can we do as consumers, to prevent waste from ending up in lakes and oceans?

    Reason: As consumers we could make sure we are using fabric bags when we get groceries and use resuable, washable dishes. I often drink bottled water, but need to make an effort to use a cup rather than water bottles.
