Collection: U.S Immigration Lessons 1-5, Pew Research Center Return to Group

These documents were created by a team of researchers led by Mark Hugo Lopez, director of global migration and demography research at Pew Research Center where they study immigrants and immigration trends in the United States and worldwide. From the Center’s large body of survey and demographic research, this Pew research team has crafted a mini-course on immigration in the U.S. The course is made up of six short, easy-to-read documents that we've paired together and added to this collection.

What’s on the syllabus? The U.S. has more immigrants than any other country, and immigration in this country is a complex issue with a long history. The Pew Center's goal is to share what you need to know about this important topic and show you how you can dig into their research if you want to find out more. The documents in this collection explore:
