This week in class we talked about our schedules and where to find the little pockets of time in order to fill them with productive things to do. These times would total up to 20-25 hours a week in order to catch up or stay on top of things in our lives. I felt that this did not apply to me at all. Mostly because I already make my schedule weekly and with football, I do not have the extra 20 to 25 hours. Typically the extra time I have it is devoted to my dog, moose, and getting in extra football work done. THis work can consist of getting my body in shape or watching film of the other team we are playing that week. I can get in the bad habit of mixing football into my academic life which then makes my grades and more importantly my learning suffer. We also talked about the Eisenhower complex. We found that quadrant 2 is the quadrant that we want to dedicate most of our time to. However, the problem I saw with this complex, is that if we are behind and we have a bunch of things in quadrant 1, there is no solution to getting into quadrant 2 because there is this constant cycle. I also think quadrant 3 is not necessary for me because the examples that were given were flash sale things and I simply just do not shop that often to care about deals. I buy things based off of need and not want.
