Dear Ocasio-Cortez,
I am impressed by your instagram video because it shows your support of our generation and you consider all the struggles and the social stigma that our generation experiences. Publishing a video shows your concern about our generation.
One thing you said shows how altruistic you are is “anything, like I think they're profoundly courageous because they're willing to puncture more taboos and have conversations that, frankly, older generations sometimes struggle to have. ” because it shows how you support youth activism .
Another line that stands out for me is “we the people means you. You are as a voter you are the government too. And if we are not in the streets. If we are not in the streets, if we are not organizing, then what we are doing is abdicating ourselves from government and actually allowing someone else to take over.” because it shows how insightful you are and it shows how optimistic you are about our future generations. You elaborate on how the change can start with people. You also explained how powerful activism is in changing societies. Your videos show the people the importance of rebelling and speaking up in changing societies.
Your vidio inspires those youth who speak up for their communities and it supports them to persist and protest for their rights until they see change.
