This reminds me of a story I heard on NPR this afternoon about the EG8 conference that French President Nicolas Sarkozy held in Paris a few weeks ago. Some of the big ‘internet bosses’ refused to attend because they felt Sarkozy was holding the conference in order to promote his views on government censorship of the internet.
