I suppose in the “Glass of Menagerie'' the principal personality is Tom. In the play, even though Tom takes off Amanda and Laura, he is regularly indifferent and even cruel towards them. He is also a man who does now not care about what other participants of this family think. He is ambitious and selfish. He in no way can pay interest to his mother. I can describe Tom’s relationships with others a little differently due to the fact Tom has a sturdy relationship with his sister. I assume Tom honestly loves his sister, however he thinks he ought to forget about that when he left. However it never went away. I notice that in scene I, the relationship between Tom and Amanda is stretched. In this scene, you can see that Tom looks to have a hard time tolerating her, and whilst Amanda loves his child. One, she is miserable. Two, she scares. three, she is sad.
2These characteristics have an impact on her relationships with others. “AMANDA [her voice trembling and her eyes all of sudden filling with tears]: Happiness!” This conveys that Amanda is a surely emotional girl even even though she does no longer exhibit it. She is sad and suffers from Tom and Laura later. She hides every now and then through this mask that suggests her children.
3Late on page 164 to 165, she interacts with her mom Amanda, basically, she desires to make a wish however she is confused about what form of want she should make “LAURA looks faintly puzzled as if called out of sleep. 4LAURA: What shall I wish for, Mother?” Amanda seems to be regretful. The reader can note she is unable to discuss and she wants to get some remedy from her daughter.
