I think the many rivers helped the growth of Mali because they were able to have fertile land, transportation, and more trade routes.

I think that the Savannah helped the growth of the Mali empire because the Savannah has hot, dry wet, and warm summers. Which would benefit them because they would have good temperature at times and that would make other people come.
