Isaac's letter to AOC

Dear Representative Ocasio-Cortez,

I am flatter by your Instagram video because as teenagers, it an honor for us to hear a representative acknowledge our effort

One thing you said that stands out for me is: “I think they’re badass” I think this is really meaningful for us teenagers since formality is rarely our first concern because this is the language we speak and coming from you it means a lot it makes us proud.

However I somewhat disagree with you saying they are even determined by our predecessors One reason I say this is because the Era and the struggle that our predecessor went trigh was far more different then what is happening right now, although we still have our own struggles, but my point is, I don’t see many students from our generation agreeing to go in a all white school and let themselves be called “little rock nine” just for revolution I don’t see today’s kids going to sit in a all white bar, sitting without anything with the risk of being killed just to reclaim their right for being humans. Another reason I disagree with you is because if our processor had the resources to have today, internet, social, and human rights, they would have done most we are doing now. But instead with wine and complaining about life is unfair hard while ours is way stronger than what they used to have.

Recently I was looking at videos by young activists, and one of them is a good example of what I’m saying here.

I’m especially inspired by the video by Xiuhtezcatl Roske-Martinez because it proudly represents a problem that directly affects us ( the younger generation). Which is climate change. Additionally, the fact that entropy has become one of the most notorious issues that the human foresee to be a huge catastrophe. I think this is one of the videos that stand out to me simply because it sets the tone for us youngsters to follow the steps of other courageous people.

I’ve also been learning about young leaders going out there and fighting for what’s right. The young protesters that I find most inspiring are the ones who use their resources on top of going out there and fighting, the one who use hashtags and touching more people who aren’t involved in politics for example. This Era is the first where you get to have your own tv show inside your hands or pocket and go live whenever you want to address a problem.

Thanks for taking the time to read my letter. I look forward to seeing what you do or say next. I think they have a huge influence on the young. You are one the role models that we look up to and give us hope that our future wouldn't be that horrible to survive in.

MY VIDEO about segregation goes here.

I’m especially inspired by the video by because in this video, you can black by assault by white kids for going into their neighbourhood. This video is a great example of how the younger generation before us were brave and activist. Although racial segregation is not the biggest issue today, it is still a big problem in our society. These kids from the video were trying to spray love with other kids from a different race. These racial adversity still exist but I haven’t heard any stories about today’s kids-- not even teenagers-- fighting for equality.
